Location:  Starbase 788.

After a challenging diplomatic mission that was hampered by agents of the Typhon Pact, the Endeavour makes a welcome stop at Starbase 788.

As the rest of the crew make the most of the Starbase's facilities, Chief Engineer Lt. Cmdr. ch'Tskare takes the opportunity to make some "tweaks" to the engines, requiring the ship to physically dock with the Starbase.  She is keen to make these alterations as she has just recieved some exciting news.  The Endeavour is being considered as one of the first nine ships to have the Mk.2 Quantum Slipstream Drive.  If chosen the ship will then begin an all new type of mission, as part of a small fleet sent to explore the Andromeda Galaxy.
